6.3.2.32 ip ospf retransmit-interval

This command sets the OSPF retransmit Interval for the specified interface. The retransmit
interval is specified in seconds.
Syntax
ip ospf retransmit-interval <0-3600>
no ip ospf retransmit-interval
< 0-3600 > - The value is the number of seconds between link-state advertisement retransmissions for
adjacencies belonging to this router interface. This value is also used when retransmitting database and
link-state request packets.
<no> - This command sets the default OSPF retransmit Interval for the specified interface.
Default Setting
The default retransmit interval is 5 seconds.

6.3.2.33 ip ospf transmit-delay

This command sets the OSPF Transmit Delay for the specified interface. The transmit delay
is specified in seconds. In addition, it sets the estimated number of seconds it takes to
transmit a link state update packet over this interface.

ip ospf transmit-delay <1-3600>
no ip ospf transmit-delay
