Inserting a scene from a VCR
You can insert a new scene fl'om a VCR onto your originally recorded tape by
specifying tile insert start and end points. Use the Remote Commander fur this
operation. Connections are the same as on page 58 or 59.
Insert a cassette containing the desired scene to insert into the VCR.

(1) Set the POWER switch to VCR.
(2) On the VCR, locate just before tile insert start point [a], then press I I to set tile
VCR to tile playback pause mode.
(3) On your camcorder, locate the insert end point [c] by pressing <1<1 or b,l_.
Then press I I to set it to the playback pause mode.
(4) Press ZERO SET MEMORY on the Remote Commander. The ZERO SET
MEMORY indicator flashes and the end point of the insert is stored in
inelnory.
(5) On your camcorder, locate tile insert start point [b] by pressing _1_1. Press FN
and select REC CTRL in PAGE3.
(6) Press REC PAUSE.
(7) First press || on the VCR, and at#er a few seconds press REC START on your
camcorder to start inserting the new scene.
Inserting automatically stops near the zero point oil tile tape counter. Your
camcorder automatically returns to tile recording stop mode.
