Recording video or TV programs
When you have finished dubbing a tape
Press • on both your camcorder and the VCR.
Using the Remote Commander
In the step 6 above, press • REC and tile button on its rigbt simultaneously, tben
immediately press ||. And in the step 8, press || at tile scene where you want to start
recording fl'om.
Note
If the pictm e fl'om tile VCR o1"tile TV does not appeal on the LCD screen o1"in tile
viewfinder, make sure that tile A/V connecting cable is connected to tile output jack on
tile VCR or on the TV.
If your VCR is a monaural type
Connect tile yellow plng of tile A/V connecting cable to tile video outpnt jack and the
white o1"tile red plug to tile audio output jack on tile VCR or the TV. When the white
plug is connected, the lef_ channel audio is output, and wben tile red plug is connected, _'
tile right channel audio is output.
Connect usingan S video cable (not supplied) to obtain high-quality pictures
With this connection, you do not need to connect tile yellow (video) plug of tile A/V
connecting cable.
Connect an S video cable (not supplied) to tile S VIDEO jacks of both your camcorder
and tile VCR.
This connection produces higher quality DV fbmlat picmles.
