Searching a recording by date - Date search
(1) Set the POWER switch to VCR.
(2) Press FN to display PAGE1 (p. 16).
(3) Press MENU, then set CM SEARCH in _ to OFF in the menu settings (p. 89).
(4) Press SEARCH MODE on the Remote Cominander repeatedly, until the date
search indicator appears.
Tile indicator changes as fbllows:
TITLE SEARCH ---* DATE SEARCH ---* PHOTO SEARCH ---* PHOTO SCAN
(5) Press I,<1<1on the Remote Con:mander to search for tile previous date or press
_1 on the Remote Commander to search for the next date. Your camcorder
automatically starts playback at the point where the date changes. Each time
you press _ or I_1, your can:corder searches for the previous or next date.
To stop searching
Press • on the Remote Commander or on your cameorder.
Note
If'one day's recording is less than two minutes, your can-lcorder may :lot accurately find
the point where tile recording date changes.
In the [_ZZZB mark
• Tile bar in tile _ mark indicates the present point on the tape.
• Tile T mark in the _
indicates the actual point you are trying to search.
If a tape has a blank portion between recorded portions
The date sealch f\metion may not work correctly.
Cassette memory
The tape cassette memory can hold six recording date data. If you search the date
among seven o1"more data, see "Searching for tile date without using cassette memory".
