Superimposing a still picture in the "Memory Stick" on a moving picture

Items to adjust
M. CHROM Tile color (blue) scheme of the area in the still picture which is to be
swapped with a moving picture
M. LI JMI Tile color"(bright) scheme of tile area in tile still picture which is to be
swapped with a moving picture
C. CHROM Tile color"(blue) scheme of the area in the moving picture which is to
be swapped with a still picttue
M.OVERLAP No adjustment necessary
Tile fewer bars there are on the screen, the stronger the ef%ct.
To change the still picture to superimpose
Press /+ on the right lower corner before step 6.
To change the mode setting
Press _ OFF before step 5. and repeat tile procedure fl'om step 2.
To cancel M. CHROM/M. LUMI/C. CHROM/M.OVERLAP
Press _ OFF to rettun to PAGE1.
During recording
You cannot change the mode setting.
The "Memory Stick" supplied with your camcorderstores 20 images
For"M. CHROM: 18 images (such as a frame) 100 0001-100 0018
For C. CHROM: 2 images (such as a background) 100 0019-100 0020
Sample images
Sample images stored in the "Memory Stick" supplied with your camcorder are
protected (p. 119).
If you format the "Memory Stick"
Sample images will be deleted.
If a still picture to be superimposedhas lots of white areas
Tile thumbnail image may not be displayed clearly.
Image data modified with personal computers or shot with other equipment
You may not be able to play them back with your cameorder.
To record a still picture without any effect on a mini DV tape
Press /+ on tile left corner to increase tile bars to maxin-lt/nl in tile M. LUMI mode in
step 6.
Note on M.OVERLAP
You cannot change the still picture to superimpose in the memory overlap mode. Once
cancel the memory overlap mode to change the still picture.
