Troubleshooting

Cause and/or Corrective Actions
• Tile tape has run out.
") Rewind tile tape (p. 29).
• The television's video channel is not adjusted correctly.
+ Adjust it (p. 31).
• The video head may be dirty.
") Clean the heads using the Sony DVM12CLD cleaning
cassette (not supplied) (p. 139).
Tile volume is turned to minimnm.
") Turn up tile volume (p. 27).
AUDIO MIX is set to 8T2 in the menu settings.
+ Adjust AUDIO MIX (p. 89).
Tile tape has no cassette memo W.
-) Use a tape with cassette memo1T (p. 54, 125).
CM SEARCH is set to OFF in tile menn settings.
+ Set it to ON (p. 89).
Tile tape has a blank portion in tile recorded portion
(p. 125).
Tile tape has no cassette memory.
