Playing back a tape with picture effects
During playback, you can process a scene nsing tile pictnre effect functions: NEG.ART,
SEPIA, B&W and SOLARIZE.
(1) In the playback mode or the playback pause mode, press FN to display PAGE1
(p. 16).
(2) Press MENU, then select P EFFECT it-i

in the menu settings to select a
desired picture effect mode (p. 89).
Refer to page 40 for details of each picture effect function.
To return to FN
Press EXIT.
To cancel the picture effect function
Set P EFFECTto OFF in the menu settings.
Notes
• You cannot process externally input scenes using the picture et_ec'tfimction.
• To record pictures that you have processed using the picttu e effect f\mction, record
the pictures on the VCR using your camcorder as a player.
Pictures processed by the picture effect function
Pictures processed by the picture effect f\mction are not output through the p, DV IN/
OI IT jack.
When you set the POWER switch to OFF or stop playing back
The picture eff_ct f\mction is automatically canceled.
