Maintenance information and precautions
The buttons on the touch panel may )lot work correctly. If this happens, fiallow the
procedure below.
(1) Set the POWER switch to OFF.
(2) Eject tile tape fFoill your camcorder, then disconnect any connecting cable fi'om
your camcorder.
(3) Set tile POWER switch to VCR while pressing DISPLAY/TOUCH PANEL on
your camcorder, then keep pressing DISPLAY/TOUCH PANEL fbr about five
seconds.
(4) Follow tile procedure below using an object such as the corner of the "Memory
Stick" supplied with your camcorder.
@Touch X at tile upper left corner.
@Touch × at the lower right corrler.
(_)Touch X in tile iniddle of the screen.

Note
If'you do not press tile right spot, X always rettlrns to the position at the upper left
corner. In this case, start fl'om step 4 again.
