Recording video or TV programs

You can record the tape from another VCR or a TV program from a TV that has a DV
output. Use your camcorder as a recorder. Connect the VCR with an i.LINK cable
(optional). Video and audio signals are transmitted in digital form for high-quality
editing.

Notes
•Your camcorder only records pictures for viewing on an NTSC system based TV and
VCR. See "Using your camcorder abroad" on page 102 for the TV color systems used
in each country/region.
•Before recording, make sure if the DV IN indicator appears on the screen. The DV IN
indicator may appear on both equipment.
•Recording of only the picture or sound cannot be done.
