The display shows the following:
Status messages that indicate the printer's current status,
as shown in the following table:
Display message
Ready:# 0
Printing:# 0
Paused:# 0
Data in Buffer
Cut the Paper
Test Printing
Setting Printing
Hex Dump
SelecType 1
SelecType 2
Bi-d adjustment
Error messages, such as Paper Out, which identify
maintenance procedures you must perform or error
conditions you need to correct. See pages 8-3 and 8-4 for
more information.
SelecType features and options such as Character Table,
which give you a greater degree of control over printer
functions. See page 4-8 for more information.
Status
The printer is ready to receive
data from the computer.
The printer is printing normally.
Printing is paused.
Data is in the buffer but printing
is paused.
The printer is in tear-off mode
and has advanced paper to the
tear-off position.
The printer is printing the self test.
The printer is printing the current
default settings.
The printer is in hex dump mode.
The printer is in SelecType Level 1.
The printer is in SelecType Level 2.
The printer is in Bi-d adjustment
mode.
