Note:
The auto tear-off feature works only after the printer receives a full
page of data or a form-feed command and it receives no more data for
a few seconds.
Auto LF
Turn on the auto line feed feature to cause the printer to add
a line feed (LF) command to every carriage return (CR)
command sent by the application program software. If you
turn it off, line feeds occur only when the software sends line
feed commands to the printer.
Because most computers and application programs
automatically add line feeds to carriage returns, you should
use this feature only if your printer prints only on one line.
0 slash
Select the zero character with a slash (0) (this feature is on) or
without a slash (0) (this feature is off). The slash allows you to
easily distinguish between an uppercase letter "O" and a zero.
Buzzer
Turn this feature on to cause the printer to produce two types
of noises when an error occurs. See page on 8-4 for more
information.
Standard setting
You can restore all settings to the factory standard defaults
printed in bold in the previous tables. Make this setting and
when
r button to reset the printer.
After you select the factory default settings, the display returns
to the settings menu. Press SelecType to exit.
