3. Press + or - until Emulation is displayed.
4. Press Enter and press + or - until KPDL or KPDL (Auto) is displayed, and press
Enter again to accept the new setting.
5. Press Mode Select to exit the menu.

Renaming the Printer

By default, the printer adopts an AppleTalk name of KYO_###### where the six digit
number is the 1000E serial number. The following procedure may be used to give the
printer a more user friendly name.
1. Open the DP-2800 Utility which was installed on your Macintosh desktop by the
DP-2800 Installer.
2. Select the appropriate AppleTalk zone (if any) and the desired printer from the list
of PostScript Printers and click on General.
3. Click on Rename Printer.
4. Type the new name for the printer and click OK.
5. Close the DP-2800 Utility.
