This chapter describes normal operation of the EcoLAN 1000E in the printer, and also
provides information on how to troubleshoot any problems you might have with the
EcoLAN 1000E.

8.1 LED Status Indicator

The EcoLAN 1000E green LED status indicator can also help you determine if print
jobs are getting to the EcoLAN 1000E printer.
The following table provides the conditions that the green LED may indicate.
When the Green LED...
is ON solid.
blinks 3 times and stays on.
is ONsolid after completing
the self-tests.
is ON solid.
blinks rapidly.
blinks rapidly 4 times and
then pauses.
blinks short then long
continously.

And the printer is...
first powered on.
finished with self-tests.
searching for a file
server to login to (for
about 5 seconds).
awaiting print jobs.
Error Conditions
performing self-tests.
