Advanced CMOS Setup

This menu allows the advanced system features to be modified, as outlined in Table Section
2-2. Selection of a parameter is with the keyboard arrow keys or
to modify the parameter. Press
PgDn
Pressing
opens a small window listing the options available for the selected parameter.

Pressing
reverts any changed values back to the original values. Pressing

the parameters to the BIOS setup defaults. Pressing
power-on defaults.

CAUTION: Incorrect settings can cause the
system to malfunction.
Setup and Operation
Description
Sets the system date.
Sets the system time.
Selects the type of diskette drive in the
system.
Selects the hard disk drive configuration.
Auto-Configuration is the default setting.
Selecting Type 1 or 2 allows configuring the
drive if not supported by Auto-Configuration.
Selects the time the system allows for auto-
configuration of the IDE drive before printing
an error message. Default is 5 seconds for
drive C:, 0 seconds for drive D:, E:, and F:.
Automatically detects if mouse is installed or
not installed.
Displays the amount of conventional
memory detected at power-on.
Displays the amount of extended memory
detected at power-on.
Enter
to exit back to the Main Menu.
