Turning the Power On/Off

Turning On the Power

* Once the connections have been completed (p. 13), turn on power to your various devices in
the order specified. By turning on devices in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction
and/or damage to speakers and other devices.
1.
Before turning on the power, confirm the following.
• Are all devices connected properly?
• Are the volume levels on the XV-5050 and any amp or mixer that is
connected turned down to the lowest settings?
2.
Press XV-5050's [POWER] to turn on the power.
3.
Turn on the power to connected external devices.

Turning Off the Power

1.
Before turning off the power, confirm the following.
• Are the volume levels on the XV-5050 and any amp or mixer that is
connected turned down to the lowest settings?
• Have you saved your data, including data for any sounds you have
created? (p. 104)
2.
Turn off the power to connected external devices.
3.
Press XV-5050's [POWER] to turn off the power.

This unit is equipped with
a protection circuit. A brief
interval (a few seconds)
after power up is required
before the unit will operate
normally.
