MAC Address Table

This allows the Switch's dynamic MAC address forwarding table to be viewed. When the Switch learns an association between a
MAC ad dress and a port num ber, it m akes an en try in to its fo rwarding ta ble. T hese entries are then used t o forward packets
through the Switch.
To view the following window, click Monitoring > MAC Address Table:
The functions used in the MAC address table are described below:
Parameter Description
Port The port to which the MAC address below corresponds.
VLAN Name Enter a VLAN Name for the forwarding table to be browsed by.
MAC Address Enter a MAC address for the forwarding table to be browsed by.
Find Allows the user to move to a sector of the database corresponding to a user defined port, VLAN,
or MAC address.
Clear Dynamic Clicking this button will allow the user to delete all dynamic entries of the address table.
Entries
View All Entry Clicking this button will allow the user to view all entries of the address table.
Clear All Entry Clicking this button will allow the user to delete all entries of the address table.
