Edge level
With the count function, the edge is detected by derivative
distribution.
1. The amount of change in directions light → dark and
dark → light is calculated.
2. The place where the amount of change exceeds the
edge level is detected as the edge.

Setting Measurement Items
Setting value Description
0 to 100 Sets the level of density change to be judged as an edge.
(default value: 50)
0 to 255 Sets the level to be judged as noise.
(default value: 20) When the difference between the minimum and maximum den-
sity values in the density region is at the noise level or lower, it
is judged that there are no edges. Set a higher value when
noise causes an edge to be detected by mistake.
0 to 255 Sets the width to be judged as noise.
(default value: 0) Set a higher value when noise causes an edge to be detected
by mistake.
OFF (default value) Measurement results are output using the camera's coordinate values.
ON Measurement results are output using the coordinate value
converted by the calibration function.
Description
The judgment result is output. (0:OK, -1:NG, -2: not measured)
The number of detected edges is output. (0 to 255)
The average detected pitch is output. (0 to 9999.999)
The minimum detected pitch is output. (0 to 9999.999)
The maximum detected pitch is output. (0 to 9999.999)
The average detected edge width is output. (0 to 9999.999)
The minimum detected edge width is output. (0 to 9999.999)
The maximum detected edge width is output. (0 to 9999.999)
