Notification of Numbers to the PLC

126
For the procedure to change the contents of the numeral memory table en-
try (PLC words), refer to 5-3-2 Changing Displayed Numerals or Character
Strings (Changing the Contents of Allocated Words....Direct Specification)
(page 120).
This section describes the method used to find the numeral input using the
numeral setting function, when communicating with the PLC using the host
link/NT link.
For details on the numeral setting function, refer to 4-6 Numeral Setting
(page 97).
This section describes how the numerical data input at an NT11 is ascer-
tained by the PLC.
In order to determine when numerical data has been input at the NT11, the
numeral setting strobe flag in the PT status notify area is used. In order to
determine the upgraded numeral memory table entry number, the "content
upgrade memory table entry" in the PT status notify area is used.
When numerical data is input at the NT11, this is automatically notified to the
PT status notify area (PT ® PLC) allocated in the PLC memory as follows.
Notification of upgrade:
Upgraded numeral table entry number:Stored in the "content upgrade
When the PLC reads the "content upgrade memory table entry" at the leading
edge of the numeral setting strobe flag, it determines the numeral memory
table entry number in which the numerical data that was changed at the NT11
is stored.
