Operation
Span Cal Run screen:
The beginning span value is shown in the oxygen display box along
with a span in progress icon that constantly updates as the calibration
proceeds.
The flow rate of the span gas is displayed to the right along with a
simulated flowmeter to assess the flow trend. As the span reading
settles, the screen displays and updates information on Slope. Spanning
automatically ends when the span output corresponds, within tolerance,
to the value of the span gas concentration. Then the instrument
automatically returns to the Main screen.
Note: If there is insufficient or no flow, you will not be able to
perform a zero or span calibration. If this condition occurs,
a screen will appear for a few seconds indicating that the
calibration could not be performed due to a flow alarm.
The following items are contained within the Span calibration auto
mode run screen:
1. Calibration is in progress icon.
2. Oxygen % values
3. Slope values
4. Calibration status bar
5. Flow meter with flowrate and status
The Calibration in Progress icon will appear only in the Auto
calibration mode. It means that a calibration is in progress. When the
calibration is finished or if an error occurs, the icon will stop refreshing.
