When you edit an event in a bi-directional result, the tester copies
your change to the result you got from the other end and to the
averaged result. The tester copies your change to these events:
Loss
Reflection
Gainer
Ghost Source
Hidden
In some situations, the tester will not copy your change:
The tester will not copy your change to events not listed
above, such as Launch, Tail, and Bend events.
The tester will not copy your change if it did not calculate
averaged bi-directional results. This can occur, for example, if
you did the End 1 and End 2 tests with different wavelengths
or if a span was defined when you did the test.
The tester will not copy your change to the results from the
other end if there was not an event at the correct location.
But the change will show in the averaged results.
Use LinkWare PC to make these edits to events:
Change an event to a splice, APC connector, or splitter.
Add a 0 dB event to a trace where a splice or APC connector is
present but has very low loss and does not show in the event
table.
Add a note to any event.
