Launch and tail cords or patch
cords Match the fiber to be
tested. Launch cord and one
patch cord must have an APC
connector at one end for the
HDR OTDR port.
Do not connect PC or UPC connectors to the HDR OTDR port.
Doing so can damage the port's APC endface, and the large
reflection at the OTDR port can cause unreliable test results.
