Before installing the Option 11C system, take some time to plan the
installation to ensure the system performs correctly.
Make sure that the site meets all of the following environmental, grounding,
power, and cross-connect terminal requirements before proceeding with the
installation.
The Meridian 1 Option 11C system is designed to operate in an office
environment that meets the following general conditions:
The room is clean and well ventilated. Each cabinet can dissipate up to
500 Watts of power in the form of heat (1700 BTU [1800 kJ] per hour).
Equipment room ventilation must be sufficient to maintain the
temperature at an acceptable level.
The temperature is maintained between:
— 0° and 45° C (32° and 113° F) when the cabinets are mounted
side-by-side.
— 0° and 35° C (32° and 95° F) when the cabinets are mounted one
above the other.
The humidity is maintained between 5% and 95% non-condensing.
The location selected to mount the equipment is not subject to constant
vibration.
