The NTAK02 SDI/DCH card, which can only be used in the main cabinet,
can be configured to support ports for the following:
•
two SDI and two DCHI
•
one SDI, one DCHI, two ESDI
•
four ESDI.
NTAK02 ports can be used to access overlay software. These ports should be
defined in the configuration database as the SDI logical type.
An NTAK19FB 4-port SDI cable is designed for use with the NTAK02
circuit card. However, an NE-A25B-type 25-pair cable can be used to extend
the connections to the cross-connect terminal. See Table 26 on page 199
through Table 29 on page 202 for the connections for each port.
