It is recommended to use PLANET SFP on the Industrial Managed PoE+ Switch. If you
insert an SFP/SFP+ transceiver that is not supported, the Industrial Managed PoE+ Switch
will not recognize it.
2.
Please choose the SFP transceiver which can be operated under -40~85 degrees C
temperature if the switch device is working in a 0~50 degrees C temperature environment.
Connect the fiber cable
1.
Attach the duplex LC connector on the network cable to the SFP transceiver.
2.
Connect the other end of the cable to a device – switches with SFP installed, fiber NIC on a workstation or a media
converter.
3.
Check the LNK/ACT LED of the SFP slot on the front of the Industrial Managed PoE+ Switch. Ensure that the SFP
transceiver is operating correctly.
