Use a hex-head wrench (2mm) to remove 1 stopping screw at the Head right side
(as seen from printer front).

Remove one end of the Steel Belt from the R Side Frame (CR Motor).
When removing the Steel Belt, be careful not to damage the belt
C A U T I O N
on parts such as the side frame. If the belt is damaged or creased,
it will sever after a short amount of use and require replacement.
When replacing the Steel Belt, also replace the screws that are
packed with the after service part. (This screw is a self-locking
type screw that secured in place when tighten up.)

Disassembly
Remove 4 screws securing the CR Motor/Pulley ASSY, pull out the CR Steel Belt,
then remove ASSY with black coated cover.

When the CR Motor/CR Steel Belt have been removed, the
R E Q U I R E D
following Steel Belt tension adjustment must be performed.
See Chapter 5 "CR Steel Belt Tension Adjustment."
Checkpoints after tension adjustment
After installation, move the Carriage left and right by hand
and confirm that the CR Steel Belt stays uniformly at the
center of the Pulley.

Be careful to prevent damage to the CR Steel Belt. If the belt is

damaged or creased, the CR Steel Belt must be replaced.
2.
Properly perform the tension adjustment for the CR Steel Belt.
Failure in doing so could results in the following trouble .
When belt is too tight:
Shortens durability. (Tightening of tension shortens life.)
When belt is too loose:
The belt can slip, causing damage to CR movement system and
print position misalignment.
