SERVICE REQ. 00010020: CSIC read/write error
Problem
CSIC read/write error
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when writing cannot be done by using
data when information from the cartridge CSIC is used or latest ink information
for CSIC is being written at power on/off, I/C cover open/close or at print
completion of single pages.
Solution
1. CSIC contacts are poor (Properly form CSIC connector contacts/replace
holder assembly IC)
2. CSIC Board has failed (replace ink cartridge)
3. Replace the C362DRV board
4. Replace the CSIC board
SERVICE REQ. 00010021: Starter cartridge error
Problem
Starter cartridge error
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when value falls to the same condition
as 00010020 for the starter cartridge which is only used at printer installation.
Solution
1. CSIC contacts are poor (Properly form CSIC connector contacts/replace
holder assembly IC)
2. Replace the starter cartridge
3. Replace the C362DRV board
4. Replace the CSIC board

SERVICE REQ. 00010022: Ink NVRAM status error (C362DRV setting)
Problem
Setting is outside dyes/pigments.
Even though "CSIC detection: OFF" is set, condition has become "Ink Type:
Neutral."
Solution
1. Correct ink cartridge is fixed.
2. While paper press lever is released, use Maintenance Mode 2 to set ink type.
(If paper press lever is set, initialization will start and the Service Request will
occur again.)
SERVICE REQ. 0010023: RTC operation error
Problem
RTC operation error
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when absolute time data saved in
NVRAM has formed an unreasonable date/time.
Solution
1. Start Maintenance Mode 2, initialize RTC and reset date.
2. If Step 1 does not restore function, perform the following operations then
perform Step 1 again.
1) Remove and reinstall lithium battery.
2) Replace the lithium battery
3) Replace the C362DRV board
