Add New Device

NB: THIS MENU OPTION HAS TO BE SELECTED BEFORE A LOOP DEVICE IS ADDED .
Enter AL3 (4444) > Commissioning Functions > Add New Device.
Fit the new device at the selected unpopulated loop address.
The panel will then detect the new device and the following will be displayed, for example:
As shown above, press the device description display and the panel will ask for confirmation. Press the Accept
New Device? button and then you will be able to edit the selected device's parameters as shown in section 8.5.1.4.

Edit Zone Name

This function allows the text description assigned to a zone to be edited.
Enter AL3 (4444) > Commissioning Functions press the

To change a zone's name, press the text description button ('Zone 1' is shown as an example) and the window
shown below right appears. Amend the text using the touchscreen's standard QWERTY keyboard controls.
To select a different zone for editing, either press the zone number field (001 shown below left) and use the
and buttons to scroll through the zones, or enter the zone number directly into the zone number field
using the touchscreen's numeric keypad.

In the next display (shown left) select a loop.
In the next display scroll through the loop devices and select an
unpopulated 'no device fitted'
The panel will display 'Waiting For Device'.
