CAST ZFP Analogue Addressable Fire Alarm Panel

Intensive Poll
This function allows you to monitor a specific addressable point on the system to see how it responds to intensive,
repeated polls from the panel. During this test, the panel temporarily disables the point being monitored and also
the panel from reporting fires, pre-alarms and faults. Therefore, use this function with care.
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device Manager (select a loop device) and press
button to start the test and a device description display (shown below) appears showing the polling results.
Press the device description display (shown above) and the next display allows you to turn ON/OFF the selected
device's outputs (see section 8.5.1.1 - `Device Outputs').

Note 1: The running total of the number of good and bad
polls between the panel and monitored device appears in
the top right corner of the display.
In this example '72' (denotes good polls) / '0' (denotes
bad polls).
Note 2: The information displayed will assist C-TEC
Technical Dept. (available @ www.c-tec.com) to identify the
cause of any problems.
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device
Manager (select a loop device) > Edit/Del Device.
This function allows a selected device's parameters to be
edited including:
Device type
Zone
Input or Output Group
Device name
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device
Manager (select a loop device) > Edit Device Name.
This function allows the text description assigned to specific
devices to be created, or amended.
When selected, use the touchscreen's QWERTY keyboard to
change the text description.
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device
Manager (select a loop device) > Enable/Disable Device.
Press the device description display (shown left) to toggle
the state of a specific device between 'ENABLED' and
'DISABLED'.
