Show Loop Status

This function allows you to view the voltage level of the addressable loops and check the loop isolator
condition.
8.5.9

Find Loop Break

This function assists in pinpointing the precise location of a loop open circuit or loop short circuit.
The following fault may have been displayed at the panel, for example:
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Find Loop Break.
The following is displayed, for example:
Select the loop(s), e.g. Loops 1 & 2 and press
The panel will initialize both ends of the selected loop(s).
A PROGRESS BAR WILL BE DISPLAYED. WAIT FOR THE PROCESS TO COMPLETE!
Assuming there is an open or short circuit fault on the loop, the device LEDs on either side of the fault will be lit
steady red when the process is completed.

Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions press the
button and a window similar to the
one shown left appears.
If there is a fault on one of the loops the background colour
of the switch will change from green to yellow.
The actual loop voltage will depend upon the number of
devices connected on a loop.
