CAST ZFP Analogue Addressable Fire Alarm Panel

Change Address
This function is used to change device addresses at the panel, therefore saving the use of ladders to access a
device on site.
Note: The CAPROG Handheld Programmer can be used to manually change the address of a device, but this
will also require a loop learn to be carried out.
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device Manager (select a loop device) > Change Address.
The selected device's LED will light.

The panel will request confirmation of the address change, for example:

Show Device Data
This function allows you to read the selected device's data record including loop address, device type, and
debug information.
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device Manager (select a loop device) > Show Device Data.
Note: The information displayed will assist C-TEC Technical Dept. (available @ www.c-tec.com) to identify
the cause of any problems.

Add Device
Press the
parameters to be edited including:
Device type, Zone, Input or Output Group, Device name.

Contamination Check

After the check is completed, any detection devices that fall outside of the analogue range and are showing signs
of contamination (below Min AV or above Max AV) will be listed on the touchscreen, otherwise the display will
confirm all devices are 'OK' and return to the Engineering menu.

Scroll through the loop devices and select an unpopulated 'no device fitted'
Press the green 'tick' button to confirm.
In this example the panel will auto-assign address 1 to address 81.
This function allows devices to be added to a loop.
First, fit the new device to the loop.
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device Manager.
In the Loop Devices window (shown in section 8.5.1), press an
unpopulated 'no device fitted' icon
