8.6.3

Fix Address Faults

This function helps to locate and fix devices with duplicate (double) addresses. A fault may have been displayed
at the panel stating 'MISSING' or 'DOUBLE ADDRESS', example shown below:
Enter AL3 (4444) > Commissioning Functions > Fix Address Faults
The panel will reinitialise and check the loop.
THIS WILL TAKE TIME. WAIT FOR THE PROCESS TO FINISH! ONCE LEARNED, WAIT
FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES TO ALLOW THE SYSTEM TO SYNC WITH THE DEVICES.
After checking the loop, the panel will automatically re-allocate any duplicate addresses to the next available
'unpopulated' loop addresses thereby removing any duplicate addresses.
The devices which have been re-allocated a new address by the panel can now be changed by either of the
following options:
performing an Auto Address function (see section 8.6.2),
or, by using Device Manager > Change Address menu option (see section 8.5.1.10),
or, by manually using the CAPROG Handheld Programmer.
