Configure Device
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device Manager (select a loop device) > Configure Device.
This function allows you to resend the default configuration held by the panel to the selected device.

Read Device Config
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device Manager (select a loop device) > Read Device Config.
This function displays the configuration data for the selected device including the device's Unique ID (UID),
type code and device firmware version.
Note 1: The configuration data displayed will differ dependent on whether the device is a detector, sounder, I/O unit
or MCP.
Note 2: The information displayed will assist C-TEC Technical Dept.

Replace Device
NB: THIS MENU OPTION HAS TO BE SELECTED BEFORE A LOOP DEVICE IS REPLACED.
This function may be used, for example, to replace a faulty loop device without requiring a new loop learn.
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineering Functions > Device Manager (select a loop device) > Replace Device.
When the Replace Device button is pressed, select the loop and device number. The panel will display the
following, for example:
WAIT FOR THE AUTO ADDRESS PROCESS TO FINISH! THIS MAY TAKE SOME TIME
DEPENDENT ON THE NUMBER OF DEVICES ON THE LOOP.
ONCE LEARNED, WAIT FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES TO ALLOW THE SYSTEM TO SYNC
WITH THE DEVICES.
