Expensive Route Warning Tone

When an extension user requests an ESN location, you may be signaled that only an expensive route is
available. The caller can accept the expensive route (direct distance dialing) or try again later.

A caller requests an
extension at a distant
ESN location. Dial the
requested number.

To accept the expensive
route, company policy
permitting, stay on the
line.

To reject the expensive
route, press RLS.

Press RLS to end your
connection in the call.
The excl. src. indicator
goes on. You hear three
beeps if the only available
route is the most
expensive one.
The call is completed.
The excl. src. indicator
goes off; you and the
caller are reconnected.
The RLS indicator goes
on; you are free to process
other calls.
