How to Reduce Interference

The noise induced by own ship's
electrical equipment and the periodic
interference from other ship's fish finder
can be reduced. Turn off the interference
rejection function when there is little
interference so that weak echoes are not
missed.
Touch control:
1.
Press the MENU/ESC key to open [MENU].
2.
Tap [SOUNDER].
3.
Tap [Interference].
The [Off]/[Low]/[Medium]/[High]/[Auto] selection box appears.
4.
Tap [Off], [Low], [Medium], [High] or [Auto].
5.
Tap [x] on the title bar to close [MENU].
Key control:
1.
Press the MENU/ESC key to open [MENU].
2.
Select [SOUNDER] with the arrow keys, then press the ENTER key.
3.
Select [Interference] with the arrow keys, then press the ENTER key.
The [Off]/[Low]/[Medium]/[High]/[Auto] selection box appears.
4.
Select [Off], [Low], [Medium], [High] or [Auto] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER key.
5.
Press the MENU/ESC key to close [MENU].

How to Reduce Low Level Noise

Speckles caused by murky water or the like may appear over
the screen, making it difficult to see the images. The clutter
reduction function can eliminate unnecessary speckles and
clearly show the echo traces of schools of fish.
Note: This operation is disabled when [Gain Auto] is set to
[Fishing] or [Cruising].
Touch control:
1.
Press the MENU/ESC key to open [MENU].
2.
Tap [SOUNDER].
3.
Tap [Clutter] and drag the slider bar displayed on the right, or tap [+] or [-] to set the
clutter level.
4.
Tap [x] on the title bar to close [MENU].
