Following are descriptions of N-560 audible indicators.
Power-On Self-Test Pass A 1-second tone indicating that the N-560 has been
Valid Button Press
Invalid Button Press
High Priority Alarm
Medium Priority Alarm
Low Priority Alarm
Alarm Silence Reminder Three beeps that sound approximately every
Pulse Beep
Volume Setting Tone
Confirmation Tone
turned on and has successfully completed the
power-on self-test
A short, medium-pitched tone indicating that an
appropriate button has been pressed
A short, low-pitched tone indicating that a button
has been pressed that is not appropriate for the
current state of the N-560
A high-pitched, fast-pulsating tone indicating loss
of pulse
A medium-pitched, normal-pulsating tone
indicating an SpO
or pulse rate limit violation

sensor disconnect, low battery, or N-560 failure
