Ignite SDC/HDC Robotic Camera Instruction Manual
Camera adjustments can be accomplished in one of two modes, shooting
mode or menu mode.
Shooting mode adjustments are accomplished by pressing rear panel
switches while viewing a specific target object/scene.
Menu mode adjustments are accomplished by accessing the USER menu,
navigating to a desired submenu, then adjusting the value of a specific
submenu item.
Set the automatic white balance control by pressing the ENTER/AWB
switch (with no menu displayed), while shooting a white object that fills at
least 50% of the screen.
Note
If the white signal level is over 100% or less than 50%, the white balance may
not adjust properly.
Note
Black balance is adjusted with the lens closed. When the motor drive lens is
controlled from the camera, adjusting the black balance causes the lens to
automatically close.
Set the automatic black balance by pressing the UP/ABB switch, with no
menu displayed.
When multiple cameras are used or the camera is combined with other
equipment, it is necessary to adjust the phase-for-phase matching by
external synchronization.
Using a two-phenomenon oscilloscope, observe the external synchronizing
signal input (black burst signal) and video signal output waveforms.
Adjust the horizontal phase using the camera GEN-LOCK menu.
When using HD synchronizing signals:
1. Roughly adjust the synchronizing signal input and video signal output
phases by H PHASE-COARSE.
