Prestige 652 ADSL Security Router
1. A filter in menu 3.1 (LAN) or in menu 11.5 (WAN) is applied to block a Telnet, FTP or Web
service.
2. You have disabled that service in menu 24.11.
3. The IP address in the Secured Client IP field (menu 24.11) does not match the client IP address.
If it does not match, the Prestige will disconnect the session immediately.
4. There is an SMT console session running.
5. There is already another remote management session of the same type (web, FTP or Telnet)
running. You may only have one remote management session of the same type running at one
time.
6. There is a web remote management session running with a Telnet session. A Telnet session will be
disconnected if you begin a web session; it will not begin if there is already a web session.
7. When enabled, the firewall allows remote management from the LAN, but blocks remote
management from the WAN (unless you configure a firewall rule to allow it).

21.7 Remote Management and NAT

When NAT is enabled:
Use the Prestige's WAN IP address when configuring from the WAN.
Use the Prestige's LAN IP address when configuring from the LAN.

21.8 System Timeout

There is a system timeout of five minutes (three hundred seconds) for either the console port or
telnet/web/FTP connections. Your Prestige will automatically log you out if you do nothing in this timeout
period, except when it is continuously updating the status in menu 24.1 or when sys stdio has been
changed on the command line.
