HEIGHT OF CUT FLAIL ___________________________________________
• Secure the carrier vehicle so that it cannot roll away.
• Raise the flail implement approximately 5 cm.
• Adjust the front support wheels to the desired height of cut as described by the table.

• Remove the cotter pin.
• Raise or lower the support wheel as required.
• Secure the support wheel again using the cotter pin.
• Make the same setting on the second support wheel.
• Raise or lower the roller using the Skids are level with the ground.
Note this may only be required when making large changes in height of cut.

• Loosen bolt 1 and bolt 2.
• Undo the nut and lock nut on the retainer.
• Raise or lower the roller using the nut or lock nut until the required
working depth is reached. A scale has been attached to indicate the working depth.
• Tighten the nut and lock nut.
• Tighten bolt 1 and bolt 2.
• Make the same adjustment on the opposite side of the housing.
Note: There are three smaller increments on the front caster pin block. Make fine adjustments on this pin block
and use to lower cut height in small steps as the flails wear.

Tools must not come into contact with the ground
Any contact with the ground could result in stones or
other material not being held back safely by the stone im-
pact protection. Persons even outside of the hazard area could
be injured by ejected material.
