Remove the bedbar from the cutting unit; refer to

Remove screws from bedbar using a socket wrench and bedknife screw tool;

Use a scraper to remove all rust, scale and corrosion from the bedbar
surface under the bedknife. Lightly oil the bedbar surface before installing
the bedknife.
2.
Make sure that screw threads in bedbar (5/16-18UNC-2A) are clean.
