Testing the ON/OFF switch

1. On/Off switch
The ON/OFF switch is located on the console on the handle. This rocker switch
allows the engine to be turned on and off.
1. Ensure that the engine is OFF and the traction control is in the NEUTRAL
position.
2. Remove the controls cover from the handle assembly to allow access to
the ON/OFF switch.
3. Disconnect the wire harness electrical connector from the ON/OFF switch.

4. With the use of a multimeter (ohms setting), the switch functions may be
tested to determine whether continuity exists between the various terminals
for each switch position. The switch terminals are marked as shown in
44. The circuitry of the ON/OFF switch is shown in below table. Verify the
continuity between switch terminals.
