a. Use a 1/2" socket with 6" extension to loosen the four Drive Motor mount bolts
enough so that the motor can slide forward and/or rearward in the mounting
tray.
b. Use a 1/2" wrench to adjust the drive belt tension adjustment bolt as needed to
bring the belt tension into specification. Monitor the tension gauge value while
making adjustments. Slide the motor forward to tighten the tension and rear-
ward to loosen the tension.
c. Remove the tension gauge. Then manually push the running belt so that the
drive belt moves several rotations around the drive roller and drive motor pul-
leys. Then remeasure and verify that the belt tension remained within spe-
cification. If the belt tension has changed, repeat the tension adjustment
procedure until the belt tension remains within specification.

CAUTION: Only make small incremental changes to the motor position per ten-
sion adjustment. Do not over tension the belt which could cause damage to the
belt or motor pulley mechanism.
