3.7 Additional Axis Function

This controller is equipped with an additional axis interface for controlling an additional axis when a traveling axis or rotary
table is added to the robot. A maximum of eight axes of servo motors can be controlled at the same time by connecting a
general-purpose servo amplifier (MR-J4-B series) that supports Mitsubishi's SSCNET III.
Refer to the separate "Additional axis interface Instruction Manual" for details on the additional axis function.

3.7.1 Wiring of the Additional Axis Interface

shows the connectors for additional axes inside the controller.
