Disconnect all power
cords and external cables.

Remove the server from
the rack.

Remove the reusable
components from the
failed server.

Install the reusable
components in the new
server.

Install the new server in
the rack.

Reconnect the external
cables and power cords.

Turn on the server.

Procedure
1. Turn off the server and all attached devices.
2. Label and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
