Procedure
1. Make sure that all internal cables, PCIe cards, and other components are installed and
seated correctly and that you have not left loose tools or parts inside the server. Also, make
sure that all internal cables are correctly routed.
2. Place the cover-release latch in the open (up) position.
3. Insert the bottom tabs of the top cover into the matching slots in the server chassis. See the
following figure.

4. Press down on the cover-release latch to lock the cover in place.
5. Slide the server all the way into the rack until it latches.
6. Reconnect the external cables and power cords.
