Replacing memory modules
Important:
Always use an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding system when you work
inside the server. For more information, see
Procedure
1. Turn off the server and all attached devices.
2. Label and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
3. Remove the cover.
4. If PCI riser-card assembly 1 contains a PCIe card, remove the riser-card assembly.
5. Place your fingers under the front and back of the top of the air baffle and lift the air baffle
out of the server. See the following figure.
