Connecting digital input signals
1. Insert the digital control input terminal connectors into X6 and X4. See Section Digital
input signals (Page 131).
Note
Risk of injury through moving mechanical parts.
The controller will be operative after the next switch-on. If a control signal is present, the
door will move in the set direction.
2. Select the FBLOCK configuration according to the wiring of the input signals via the
service menu. (Optional, ATD4xxW firmware version 1.03 or higher only)
See Section Digital input signals (Page 131).
Final settings
1. Activate the application-specific relay module functionalities. (Optional, only for controllers
with a relay module)
Proceed as described in the Section Relay module (Page 135).
2. Configure the connected sensor type. (Optional, ATD4xxW only)
Proceed as described in the Section Sensors and external sensor interface module
(ATD4xxW) (Page 159).
3. Set LB or DCPS. (Optional, AT40 / ATD400V only)
Activate the connected signal (LB or DCPS) via the SIDOOR Service Tool in the following
entry:
MAIN MENU > General setup > Special parameters > Inp. 1
4. Activate the CAN interface (optional, AT40 CAN only)
Activate the CAN interface by selecting the following settings via the SIDOOR Service
Tool:

5. Switch on the controller by connecting the power supply to the controller and to the
network.
The four LEDs alongside the plug connector X6 indicate which control signal is currently
active. If there is no obstruction in the range of movement of the door, the LED for input 1
(light barrier) should be lit continuously.
