DIP switches (S501)
The DIP switches (S501) on the device are used to set the PROFIBUS address of the DP
slave.

Setting the address
The individual DIP switches 1 to 7 (
reserved.
Addresses within the range from 0 to 127 can be set with combinations of the seven DIP
switches (
Decimal).
Note
A DP slave address change only becomes effective after a power-on reset or system restart.
The following example shows the setting for the address "89":
