Cold starting system
General description
The fuelled starting aid (A) is a device which is operated electrically and ignites a controlled amount of diesel
fuel in the induction manifold to heat the induction air. A heater coil in the body expands a valve holder to allow
fuel to flow into the device. The fuel is ignited by the hot coil and the heated air enters the induction manifold
when the starter motor is operated.
