8 Release the nuts (D6) at the turbocharger to exhaust manifold flange and remove the turbocharger and the
joint (D5). Cover the open ports in the manifolds, the turbocharger and the pipes to ensure that dirt or debris
will not enter.
9 Check the crossover pipe hoses and the oil drain hose for cracks or other damage and renew them, if
necessary.
