Data Backup/Restore
When replacing the main board or the optical unit, the backup/restore tool can be used for backing up
and restoring projector settings.
• This product requires that the backup/restore tool's version is Ver. 1.6.0.0 or later.
What to Do When Replacing Parts
When replacing the main board
Before replacement: Perform "Data Backup" and "Keystone Backup".
After replacement: Perform "Data Restore" and "Keystone Restore".
• If Backup/Restore is finished successfully, manual adjustments of the following items are
unnecessary.
• If Backup/Restore cannot be executed (for example, when "Data backup" cannot be performed
because a board is faulty), adjust the following items manually.
Items to be adjusted when replacing the main board
1. Color wheel index delay
2. Keystone Calibration
3. Serial number Setup (input the machine number)
When replacing the optical unit
Before replacement: Perform "Keystone Backup".
After replacement: Perform "Keystone Restore".
• If Backup/Restore is finished successfully, manual keystone calibration is unnecessary.
• If Backup/Restore cannot be executed, perform keystone calibration manually.
*In both cases, color wheel index delay must be adjusted manually.
